How this all works….
Before your wedding day:
We will schedule a time to explore what you envision your wedding day will look and feel like. What is important to you on your big day? How do you want you and your guests to describe and remember your wedding?
I want to hear all the details: how you met, what you love about each other, and what vibe you desire your wedding film to have. After we get to know each other and I understand your style, I’ll guide you through the next steps. I’ll email you the contract to look over. Your date will be locked in after I receive your $500 deposit.
Next, we’ll plan your “Story Session.” This is where we’ll film you casually talking about your lives together. The setting could be a park, in your home, or at a favorite restaurant or coffee shop; somewhere you will feel comfortable. Don’t worry, I’ll help you feel at ease on camera. These short clips will serve as cut-away shots for your wedding film. They will add narration and personal meaning to your film that will enhance your story way beyond the wedding day.
On your wedding day:
When the big day arrives, I will arrive early to begin filming detail shots and be ready to capture you, the wedding party, and the venue. We will have previously discussed all of the key shots, and every “must have” element you desire.
I will ensure they are all filmed so you can just bask and savor your wedding day. I want to capture your story; the planned along with the unexpected moments. I will help with the flow and give direction when necessary, and get out of the way when needed. My goal is to capture your day as it evolves, with all of its spontaneous magic and emotion.
After your wedding day:
After the celebration is over, I will get to work right away on your film. I’ll send you a sneak peek soon after your nuptials. Then your full film will be edited and woven together into a beautiful cinematic video for you to enjoy, share with your friends and family, and pass on as a family treasure. I can give you the files via Google Drive for you to download and save. I can also post your videos to Youtube if you want. Your videos can be set to public or private.

I’ve been married for over 41 years. A lot has changed since we tied the knot.
Our wedding was unembellished. A simple ceremony, a song sung by a friend with piano accompaniment. The preacher delivered your typical words of wisdom and announced the newly weds. We exited to the traditional wedding song. Our reception consisted of cake, punch, mints and nuts. There was not a DJ with music, no meal, no speeches, or toasts, no dances either. Still, we felt we had a beautiful wedding that started us on our lives together in grand style.
Today’s couples have a very different perspective on what they want their special day to entail. There is a lot of planning and details, that take time, energy and money.
